    Linda,

I read the article in the Observer about you and the new Allen Tate Senior division. Welcome to the world of senior housing transitions. It is always nice to have an agency interested in the issues of seniors. The Centralina Area Agency on Aging is a trusted resource for older and disabled adults. Especially our Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman staff. These professional staff will be a great resource for you and your clients as they begin to make decisions about long term care placement. With over 35 years experience in working with consumers before, during and after they move into an adult care home or nursing facility; our staff serve as the ONLY neutral resource for information about what services can be provided, what payment sources should be considered and methods of success once a move has been made. The Ombudsman is a national program of advocates who have the resident’s rights at the center of our work. It is their interest that we promote and protect as they confront the confusing and ever changing system of care and services in our community and throughout the state. Our team would love to talk with you about your new initiative and how we might partner for successful outcomes. Looking forward to meeting you in the near future. http://www.centralinaaging.org or http://www.ltcombudsman.org to find ombudsman around the country.
