Allen Tate Greensboro-Green Valley Office to Host Open House

Allen Tate Realtors®  will host an open house celebration at the company’s newly renovated Greensboro-Green Valley office on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m.Greensboro_1

The office is located at 717 Green Valley Road, Suite 300 in Greensboro.

As part of the event, the office is collecting school supplies to benefit the Greensboro Regional Realtor Association® “Get a Kid Ready for School” campaign.

The drop-in event is open to the public and reservations are not required. Attendees are invited to tour the renovated office, meet Allen Tate Realtors, enjoy refreshments by 1618 Concepts and register to win prizes. Light cabaret music and entertainment will be provided by Jessica Mashburn.

“We regularly advise our clients on renovating their homes, and it was time that we updated our home as well,” said Sandra O’Connor, Greensboro-Green Valley branch leader. “We look forward to welcoming our clients and the community to show off our beautiful new space.”

The Allen Tate Greensboro-Green Valley office opened in 2002 as one of the first Allen Tate offices in the Triad region. It is home to more than 90 agents.

Allen Tate Realtor® Diana Bowler Receives Volunteering Works Award

Diana Bowler, a Realtor® in the Allen Tate Providence@485 office, has been selected as a 2016 recipient of the Volunteering Works award, sponsored by REALTOR® magazine.

Volunteering Works is affiliated with the magazine’s Good Neighbor Society, a group of 130 non-profit leaders who volunteer an average of 20 hours a week and have built some of the most effective charitable organizations in the country.

Bowler, one of five national recipients of the award, was recognized for her work with the Wesley Chapel Friends of Parks and Recreation. Bowler has spent countless volunteer hours coordinating and helping with events to promote Dogwood Park and the Village of Wesley Chapel. The 22.5-acre park includes paved and unpaved trails, picnic/grill sites, handicapped accessible fishing pier, dog park, little free library, geo-caching, amphitheater, and portable restroom facilities.

As an award recipient, Bowler will receive a $1,000 seed grant for her charity, as well as one year of mentoring from a Good Neighbor award recipient and non-profit leader. Bowler will be mentored by 2015 Good Neighbor award winner Susan Stearns with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Calabasas, California. She hopes to use the grant for an amphitheater band shell cover at Dogwood Park.

“I am so honored to be one of five recipients in the country to receive this award. Giving back to the community is at the very heart of who I am as person, and as a Realtor,” said Bowler. “We truly can make a difference in people’s lives.”

Bowler has 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, including four years with Allen Tate, where she has achieved the Winner’s Circle level of professional recognition. Prior to her real estate career, she worked as a corporate buyer, project accountant and contracts administrator in the engineering and building industries. Bowler holds a Bachelor of Science in business and commerce from the University of Houston-Downtown.

She is a member of the Union County Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Luxury Home Marketing, Charlotte Regional Realtor Association, North Carolina Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.

Bowler and her husband, Kerry, live in Wesley Chapel with their dog, Izzy.

Allen Tate Realtors® Sponsor Designer Show House to Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs

Allen Tate Realtors®, in partnership with DJF Builders and Sheri Hagerty Realty Group, announce the launch of DJF Builds Great Futures, a community-wide campaign in support of local Boys and Girls Club Render 1 (2)Boys & Girls Clubs in Wake County.

Award-winning home builder Dennis Fitzgerald with DJF Builders will lead the effort to build a 6,000+ square-foot designer show house in the Country Club Hills neighborhood of Raleigh, donating all proceeds from the sale to support Boys & Girls Clubs. Allen Tate and Sheri Hagerty Realty Group will market the completed home to potential buyers.

DJF Ground Breaking - GroupDesigned by Carter Skinner, the 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath home will be located at 3021 Granville Drive in Raleigh. It features 5,584 square feet of inside living space with an additional 1,000 square feet of outdoor space, highlighted by formal English gardens. The exterior of the home is white painted brick, with a cedar shake roof and copper accents.

Each room in the home will be expertly decorated by more than 20 local, state and national designers, highlighting the latest trends.

Company ranks #6 among independent brokers on REAL Trends 500 report

Allen Tate Company  is the top real estate firm based in the Carolinas and ranks #6 among the country’s largest independently owned, non-franchised brokers, and #13 among all brokers, based 03_Congrats_Coson closed transactions sides for 2015, according to the REAL Trends 500 report.

The annual report, which ranks the country’s top 500 real estate firms, is produced by REAL Trends, the nation’s leading publisher of trends and analysis of the residential real estate brokerage industry.

Allen Tate Company closed 21,595 transaction sides in 2015 to earn the rankings.

Allen Tate Company Names Jeanine Lind Branch Leader of Wake Forest/Rolesville Office

Allen Tate Company, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Jeanine Lind as branch leader of the company’s Wake Forest/Rolesville office at 3635 Rogers Road in Wake Forest.Lind_Jeanine

In her new role, Lind will help manage and train more than 40 Allen Tate agents and staff.

Lind is an award-winning career professional with 19 years of real estate experience. She joined the Allen Tate Company in 2007 as an agent when the company entered the Triangle region. She is a licensed broker and Realtor® in North Carolina.

Prior to joining Allen Tate, Lind worked as a new construction superintendent for a custom home builder.

An active community citizen, Lind serves on the board of directors for Dirty Dogs, a local animal rescue. She also supports the Duke Children’s Hospital “Jump for the Children,” Wake Forest Arts, the Special Olympics and the United Way.

“Jeanine distinguished herself as a Realtor and we are confident that she will continue on that path as she moves into her new role as branch leader in Wake Forest/Rolesville,” said Phyllis York Brookshire, president, Allen Tate Realtors. “We’re excited about this new opportunity for her.”
